Zoey is a chocolate Labradoodle who was born on December 10, 2015.  She came to live with her family when she was a wee pup at 9 weeks old.

Her family decided to enroll Zoey at Doggy Daycare and Spa in October of 2018 right before the new addition of a human baby to the family.  It was a lifesaver for them as taking care of human baby and a 4-year-old dog who had been the “only child” previously was very challenging!

Zoey’s “besties” at Doggy Daycare and Spa are Chewie, Ami, and her human “teacher” Taylor.  She doesn’t mind the dogs one bit, but she really loves any attention she can get from people.  She also is a main contributor to “choir practice” during daycare when she stands in a circle with her friends and sings (howls)!

While many dogs love a good toy, Zoey just doesn’t seem to have much use for them.  She will simply look at a stuffy or ball and retreat to a comfy place on the couch.  She will, however, show off her tricks!  Her skills include sit, shake, high five, play dead, stay, spin, and jump up.  She can also pick which hand is hiding a treat with 100% accuracy!

We are in the heart of summer, and Zoey just wishes fall and winter would arrive.  She thinks it is just too hot out!  Drinking from the hose or sprinkler are fun, but a romp in the leaves or snow is definitely more her style.

If Zoey could talk, she would tell you that treats heal everything.  We agree there is nothing more important than self-care!
