Pretty Paisley was found as a stray and adopted from a rescue organization in January 2022.  With an unknown age, breed, or medical needs, her family took a chance on the 10-pound puppy and hasn’t regretted it for a moment.

In February 2022, Paisley became a Hip Hound at Doggy Daycare and Spa.  Direct quote from her human mom “Paisley NEEDS doggy daycare!  She is highly inquisitive, and without a fenced-in yard, she is stuck with what she’s allowed to smell and investigate on her walks.”  Paisley started attending once per week at first, but it quickly became apparent she loved attending, so she became a two-day per week regular.  She isn’t shy about reminding her mom and dad when it is daycare day as early as 6:45am!

Sometimes Paisley spends the night with Grandma when her mom and dad are out of town, and sometimes she spends the night at Doggy Daycare and Spa.  Either one is a perfect home-away-from-home for Paisley.  When staying overnight at Doggy Daycare and Spa,

Visits to the Spa are not Paisley’s favorite thing, but if there is a doggy pool, lake, or pond around, she can often be found splashing around in it.  And after a good romp in the pool, Paisley can be found sunbathing.  She will often follow the sun around her house as well as at Doggy Daycare and Spa so she can bask in its warmth.

Most dogs love a good squeaky toy, and Paisley is no exception; although she “kills” the toy and pulls out the squeaker within two minutes of receiving it.  Her favorite toy that she doesn’t destroy is a good ol’ rock.  In fact, she finds a new rock on every walk and insists on bringing it home where she buries it in the backyard.  She will uncover her “treasures” later and re-bury them.  Hiding her treasures doesn’t only occur outside!  Paisley will often “bury” anything she finds especially valuable and special inside the house as well!

Paisley always has a lot to say, whether it be singing her songs at dinner time, talking in her sleep while she dreams of chasing bunnies, or simply adding extra sounds to her stretching and yawning, Paisley has a monologue for every event.  We will listen to what you have to say any time you want, Paisley!
