Otis is an Aussiedoodle who was born on November 22, 2016. His family went “just to look” at the last puppy left in the litter, and we all know how that usually works out! Immediately upon meeting the small bundle of fur, they knew he was theirs.

In June 2019, Otis became a Hip Hound at the Okemos location of Doggy Daycare and Spa. He absolutely loves joining his best pals Lovey, Vida, Cuisle, Ramona, and Zoey for a fun day filled with time outside and a cozy afternoon nap. Otis also loves his human “teachers” and is always down with some one-on-one cuddle time.

Having a place where Otis is comfortable is important to his family. They can go out of town and Otis can spend the night at Doggy Daycare and Spa where they know he is loved and cared for. He also gets his doodle coat groomed regularly keeping his curls in tip top shape.

Otis not only loves a good nap at Daycare, he also enjoys sleeping at home! In fact, at bedtime, as soon as his Mom or Dad asks “Otis, do you want to…” he jumps up, spins in circles, and runs to the bedroom where he peeks out the doorway until someone joins him.

Like all the pups at Doggy Daycare and Spa, Otis is a spoiled boy. Each month, he is treated to a “Bark Box” and he knows exactly what they are. One month, he found his Bark Box on the porch and ripped it open immediately. He ate as many treats as possible, and when his parents tried to take it away from him, he put the whole box in his mouth and played a long game of keep away – which he won!

Otis’ favorite seasons are spring and summer. He loves watching the walkers and bikers go by his house and greets them all with a friendly bark. Going on car rides, getting ice cream, and playing frisbee on the beach are just a few of his favorite activities. While he doesn’t mind getting the sand in his fur, he is cautious of going too far into the water.

We are happy the warm weather is here too, Otis!
