Little Lovey is a Rat Terrier Mix who joined her family in December of 2021 after being born at the “All 4 Animals Rescue” in Mishawaka, Indiana.  She was the last puppy left in the litter but instantly took first place in the hearts of her new family.

In June 2022, Lovey began attending Doggy Daycare and Spa.  She had already taken multiple classes at the Okemos facility so was familiar and comfortable with the environment.  Being a social butterfly, she fit right in and made lots of friends!  Her besties include Henry, Charlie and Lucy, who she always snuggles up with for her afternoon nap after a morning filled with play.

Lovey is also voted one of Doggy Daycare and Spa’s “best dressed” and often arrives clad in stylish sweaters and dresses.  She loves to greet the team with her signature smile when she arrives for a day of fun.  Occasional overnight boarding and regular grooming at the Spa are two other amenities Lovey gets to enjoy.

It is obvious how smart Lovey is when she begins to show off her assortment of tricks.  She can shake, give high-five, stand on her back legs, dance in circles, crawl on her tummy, play hide and seek, and fetch!

When Lovey was a puppy, her favorite toy was a simple ice cube that she would bat and chase around the house.  Once she figured out that her “toy” kept disappearing, she became enamored with her stuffed toys and likes to shake them so vigorously that they go flying up into the air, landing on top of a display cabinet and disappear.  Fortunately, “mom” knows where they went and retrieves them for her.  Her most favorite of all her toys is a cute little hedgehog.

Some of Lovey’s other favorite past times include trail hikes, long walks, and going to the beach where she plays fetch along the water’s edge and goes swimming.  She also likes to chase her kitty siblings around the house (we are pretty confident she enjoys this more than they do!)  But Lovey’s absolute favorite is meeting other doggy friends which is why she is such a perfect girl at Doggy Daycare and Spa!
