This funny, floofy girl is Juneau and she is a Husky-Malamute Mix who was born on December 12, 2021. In February 2022, her family was looking to add a “great dog” to their family and Juneau was the perfect fit.

In July 2022, Juneau joined the pack at the Lansing location of Doggy Daycare and Spa. Her family appreciates having a place to take Juneau that she loves and they have peace of mind having her watched by a team of dog lovers they trust.

Juneau has a natural affinity for Golden Retrievers and her best friends at Doggy Daycare and Spa are Mystique and Bailey. She loves playing in sprinklers and engaging in lengthy conversations with the human team members. Juneau also has a great sense of humor and enjoys playing tricks on her teachers, like untying their shoes.

Keeping Juneau’s beautiful floofy coat in perfect condition is no easy task and regular grooming appointments with the Spa Specialists help with that. Overnight boarding is also worry-free for her family since they know she is having fun with her friends… and Juneau doesn’t mind spending the night at Doggy Daycare and Spa one bit.

When she’s not hanging with the Hip Hounds, Juneau enjoys regular walks and playing in her yard. She has the important job of keeping an eye on the deer and rabbits who roam her property. Playing fetch and tug-of-war, chewing on nylon bones, and making treats disappear are also some of Juneau’s favorite past-times.

Juneau’s family is convinced that her body grew faster than her brain as a puppy. They repeatedly found her stuck under the furniture!

While Juneau enjoys summer activities such as playing in the water and lounging in the pool, she was definitely born for the cold weather and winter is her favorite season.

If Juneau could give us advice, it would be to always keep a “pawsitive” attitude. Advice from her family? Make sure you are ready if you are looking into a husky type breed! They are working dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation!
