About Quicklinks

Franklin is a tri-color Pembroke Welsh Corgi who was born on March 15, 2020. He joined his family during the height of the pandemic when his human mom was working from home. Not only was it the perfect time to be able to get a puppy acclimated and trained, but Franklin also provided the resident corgi in the family with companionship.
When he was 2 years old, Franklin began attending Doggy Daycare and Spa regularly. He was quite shy at first and wasn’t confident he wanted to be a hip hound and have doggy friends. The team knew that with patience and positive interactions, Franklin would overcome his trepidation and warm up to the other dogs. He is a true success story!
One of Franklin’s favorite things to do at Doggy Daycare and Spa is help out with new dog evaluations with his best friend Rowan. Together they help new dogs feel comfortable with appropriate greetings and interactions. Franklin also shows an affinity towards dogs of the same breed and loves to frolic with his corgi pals Kylo, Clarence, and Loki.
A corgi is blessed with a beautiful, thick double coat, and regular visits to the Spa help keep Franklin’s healthy and shiny. While getting a bath isn’t Franklin’s favorite thing to do, he always complies and is a good boy while the Spa Specialists dote on him.
When he’s not at Doggy Daycare and Spa, Franklin can be found playing fetch and chase in his backyard with his corgi brother. Their antics have earned the nickname Corgi WWE. He also loves his bones which he strategically places in a pile and lies on top of, so he doesn’t have to share.
Another favorite summer activity for Franklin is chasing the squirrels in the yard, of which there seems to be an unending supply since his neighbor feeds them. While summer is always fun, Franklin would have to admit that winter is his favorite season. He absolutely loves the white stuff and gets the zoomies and hops around like a bunny after a fresh snowfall.
Franklin is especially fond of “hamming it up” and will literally pose for the camera. He stays in place and will follow directions on where to pose and look! We think Franklin has the best smile and is a natural model.
