About Quicklinks
Chloe is a black lab shepherd mix who will charm you quickly with her adorable ears and fun-loving personality. She was born on December 10, 2016, and was at the Capital Area Humane Society when her mom saw her photo on their website. She headed over to meet the pup on her lunch break, and that was it… Chloe went home with her new mom that very day. It was love at first sight for both of them.
At just under a year old, Chloe began attending daycare at Doggy Daycare and Spa regularly. She loves running and playing with her friends (both human and dog). Her Mom is especially thankful for the exposure to different humans. Doggy Daycare and Spa has wholeheartedly made a difference in the happiness and contentment for both human mom and canine daughter.
Along with Daycare, Chloe also enjoys regular visits to the spa where her coat is kept clean and shiny, and her nails trimmed. Spending the night is never a big deal when it is at her home away from home, and regular sleepovers are just a part of Chloe’s routine when her Mom is away.
When Chloe isn’t hanging out with the hip hounds, she can be found lounging about at home, sunbathing on the deck, running around her yard, going on car rides, or visiting friends. She is a busy girl!
Like a lot dogs, Chloe absolutely loves a toy that makes noise, but her absolute favorite is a tennis ball. She will run through the yard with the ball in her mouth, especially when the lawn is being mowed. If her mom isn’t paying adequate attention to her, Chloe will simply throw the ball at her to start a good game of fetch!
Chloe is an empathetic dog and proved it when her feline sibling fell ill and had to go to the vet. Chloe would not allow her mom to take the kitty out of the house without bringing her along as the kitty’s personal bodyguard. Who knows what those tricksters at the vet might try!
When Chloe was first brought home from CAHS, her mom was on the phone with her father telling him about her new pup. She told Chloe to go out in the yard to run around and play, which Chloe gladly abided. Her “grandpa” was so impressed that she already knew that command! Little did he know that it was purely a fluke that Chloe did as she was told as it was the first time being told to do that!
Chloe is hands down the smartest dog her mom has ever had, so much so that she has to watch saying certain words. He woke up from a dead sleep when she heard the word “friends” since she plays with her friends at Daycare. In fact, she is so in-tuned with her schedule that if it changes up and she misses a “friend” day, she will pout! We miss you when you aren’t there too, Chloe!
